Early Contributors Fund Launch

We are excited to announce the launch of the Early-Contributors Fund for R5 Network. As a gesture of gratitude to those who are genuinely committed to our vision, R5 Labs is pledging 200,000 R5 coins to support early contributors who build targeted infrastructure projects and decentralized applications. This initiative recognizes meaningful contributions, with payouts ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 R5 coins per deployed application. It is important to note that these payments are a “thank you” gesture and are not intended to cover development costs. We aim to attract individuals who are genuinely passionate about advancing our platform and who will contribute to its long-term success, rather than those seeking a one-time reward.

Our current focus includes the development of a GPU miner for pool integration, the creation of financial applications such as on-chain decentralized exchanges, significant code contributions to our open source repositories at https://github.com/r5-labs, and community-building activities including hosting events and driving engagement on social media. All payments will be issued at the sole discretion of the R5 Labs team and do not constitute any form of endorsement for the projects submitted.

Applications must be open source to qualify. We can still partner and help the development of closed source applications, but not under the umbrella of this specific fund. If you are developing a closed source project and want support, please come and talk to us directly.
